Position: Warehouse Labourer
Location: London South East, SE28 0GU
Hours: Monday - Friday
08:00am - 5:00pm (with some overtime expected)
Contract Type: Permanent
Rigging Services is a major supplier of rigging equipment and design solutions, for the theatre, live event, conference, exhibition, visitor attraction, film and television industries. Based in East London, West London & the Midlands we supply professional rigging solutions for sale or rental to clients anywhere in the world - coupled with outstanding support aided by our overseas business partners.
Rigging Services now has a fantastic opportunity for a New Warehouse Labourer at our London South East branch. This role would require you to support the operations by preparing and cleaning work sites and equipment, maintaining supplies and materials; performing steps in work processes; maintaining records.

Duties:
- To organise work and time scales against the work schedule
- To prepare the work site by obtaining and delivering equipment, tools, supplies, and materials
- To maintain a clean and safe work site by removing scrap; sweeping and mopping area; erecting barriers; disposing of hazardous materials; following safety rules and procedures; wearing personal protective equipment
- To maintain the work supplies and materials by reading work orders; locating and verifying items in inventory; loading items on trucks or pull-carts; moving items to site; unloading items
- To return items to storage inventory by loading, moving, and unloading items
- To support the work processes by inspecting, preparing, sorting, weighing, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, and loading materials
- To maintain work records
- To update his/hers job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- To accomplish the organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
